Hormone Care and Menopause Clinic Chichester

Who We Are

At Menopause Care, we believe menopause care should feel clear, supportive and personal. We take time to understand your symptoms and the wider context of your health, so you feel informed rather than overwhelmed. Our approach is warm, individualised and grounded in evidence.

Menopause Care was founded by Dr Naomi Potter in 2019 to improve access to specialist menopause expertise. Our multidisciplinary team includes GPs, consultants and British Menopause Society accredited menopause specialists, alongside registered nutritionists and lifestyle medicine clinicians. We also offer access to CBT and hypnosis practitioners, which can be particularly helpful for sleep disruption, anxiety, low mood and stress related symptoms during hormonal change.

We support women through PMS, perimenopause, menopause and more complex hormonal conditions with respect, clarity and steady guidance.

Specialist menopause and hormone support for women across Chichester and the South East

Menopause Care supports women across Chichester, West Sussex, Cuckfield, Lewes, and Haywards Heath.

If you are looking for calm, expert guidance through hormonal change, our clinicians are here to help you understand what is happening and build a plan that feels right for you.

A more supportive way to access menopause care

Menopause and perimenopause can bring symptoms that feel changeable, hard to pin down, or difficult to describe. Many women tell us they are not sure what is normal, what is hormonal, or what support is available.

At Menopause Care, we take time to listen properly. We explore your symptoms in detail, look at your wider health picture, and explain options clearly so you can make decisions with confidence. Care is individual, evidence based, and designed to support both immediate symptoms and longer term wellbeing.

Menopause specialist consultations available across Chichester and nearby areas

Women across West Sussex, Surrey and Oxfordshire often balance busy lives, work, family responsibilities and health concerns all at once. Our consultation model is designed to fit around real life.

Appointments take place through secure online video, giving you dedicated time with a menopause specialist from your home or workplace. Many women value the ability to speak openly in a private space, without travel or waiting rooms, and without feeling rushed.

What we explore in your consultation

Your consultation is a confidential space to discuss what has been changing and how it is affecting you. Your clinician may explore:

  • Symptoms such as hot flushes, night sweats, low mood, anxiety, brain fog, sleep disruption or changes in cycle patterns
  • Menstrual and reproductive history
  • Family and general medical history
  • Lifestyle factors including stress, routines, nutrition and activity
  • Treatments you have tried and how they have worked for you
  • What you hope to feel different in the weeks and months ahead

From this, your clinician will help you build a personalised plan that reflects your symptoms, your needs and your priorities.

Treatment options and support

Treatment is always tailored and may include:

  • Hormone replacement therapy using regulated, body identical hormones
  • Testosterone therapy when clinically appropriate
  • Non hormonal medications
  • Nutritional guidance and lifestyle medicine support
  • CBT or hypnosis to support sleep, mood and wellbeing
  • Strategies to support energy, resilience and longer term health

Blood tests can be arranged when helpful, either locally or through home testing kits. Your clinician will explain each option clearly, including benefits and any considerations, so you feel well informed.

HRT support in Chichester and the South East

If you are already using HRT, you may be unsure whether your treatment is optimised. You may be wondering about dose, method of delivery, side effects, bleeding patterns, or what adjustments might improve symptom control.

We take a careful, balanced approach. Where helpful, we can:

  • Review and adjust HRT type, dose or delivery method
  • Consider testosterone therapy when suitable
  • Explore non hormonal alternatives if preferred
  • Discuss supplements or supportive therapies
  • Arrange blood tests to support decision making

Our aim is not only symptom improvement, but also clarity and reassurance, so you feel confident in your care.

Support for every stage of hormonal change

Women come to Menopause Care at many different points. Some are at an early stage and want professional reassurance. Others have been living with symptoms for months or years and want a clearer plan.

We support women experiencing:

  • PMS and cyclical hormone symptoms
  • Perimenopause
  • Menopause and post menopause
  • Surgical menopause
  • Premature ovarian insufficiency
  • PCOS
  • Contraceptive needs during hormonal transition

No concern is too early or not significant enough to discuss.

After your appointment

You will receive a detailed clinic letter summarising your consultation and plan. This is useful for your records and can be shared with your GP if you wish.

Many women choose follow up appointments to review progress, adjust treatment and maintain continuity over time.

Do I need an NHS referral

No referral is required. You can book directly with Menopause Care.

If you have previous letters, test results or clinic notes, you are welcome to share them ahead of your appointment.
