Why choose our programme?

Who can have weight loss injections?
These treatments are licensed for:
- Individuals with a BMI of 30 or above, or
- Individuals with a BMI of 27 or above who also have at least one weight-related health condition.
Weight-related conditions include (but are not limited to):
- Pre-diabetes
- High blood pressure
- High cholesterol (hyperlipidaemia)
- Cardiovascular disease
- Sleep apnoea
- Osteoarthritis
- Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS)
- Fatty liver disease
Ethnicity-based adjustments: Individuals of South Asian, Chinese, other Asian, Middle Eastern, Black African or African-Caribbean backgrounds may be eligible at lower BMI thresholds due to higher health risks:
- BMI of 27.5 or above, or
- BMI of 24.5 or above with a weight-related health condition.
Who should not use weight loss injections?
We cannot prescribe if you have:
- A known allergy or previous reaction to GLP-1 medications
- Heart failure, severe liver or kidney disease
- A history of pancreatitis
- Multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2 (MEN2)
- A personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer
- Type 1 diabetes
- Type 2 diabetes where you are currently on diabetic medication
Other conditions may require additional discussion. Your doctor will carefully assess your circumstances to ensure treatment is safe.
What to expect?
- Eligibility questionnaire – completed before your consultation.
- For patients new to our clinic: initial consultation - 45 minutes, £295 – full medical review and personalised treatment plan. Prescription provided if safe and appropriate.
- OR -
For existing patients of menopause care, seen in the last 12 months for hormonal review: initial consultation - 30 minutes, £225 – full medical review and personalised treatment plan. Prescription provided if safe and appropriate.
- OR -
For patients new to our clinic and already on GLP-1 medications wishing to transfer their care: initial consultation - 45 minutes, £295 – full medical review and personalised treatment plan. Prescription provided if safe and appropriate. Frequency of follow ups to be determined based on current progress / stability of dose.
- Medication –first month’s supply from £109–180* depending on product and dose.
- Ongoing support – monthly questionnaires included, with follow-up doctor reviews typically at around 12 weeks and 6 months (£225 per 30-minute consultation)
