Dr Laura Cawley
“My goal is to help women transitioning through menopause regain their sense of well-being. I take a holistic approach to care, thoroughly reviewing your medical history and considering various aspects of your lifestyle.”

About
I’m passionate about helping women navigate menopause, particularly those with conditions like endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroids, and problematic periods. As a mum of two lively boys, I understand the importance of well-being to balance life and work.
Medical expertise
I focus on supporting women through Menopause Care, while also working in an NHS gynaecology clinic, an emergency GP centre, and teaching medical students. I’m experienced in fitting coils, contraceptive implants, endometrial biopsies, and colposcopy for abnormal smears. I have advanced menopause training from Sheffield Teaching Hospital.

"I love swimming, especially outdoors. I am often setting myself new challenges to swim the lengths of various lakes. I also have two very energetic boys, as a family we love being outdoors, especially in the Peak District."
