Blood Tests at Menopause Care
Blood Tests at Menopause Care
We offer a range of blood tests to support your menopause care. Your expert clinician will recommend the most suitable option based on your individual needs after your initial consultation.
If a blood test is recommended, they will outline which test is most appropriate in your clinic letter.
Unlike many private clinics, we can also use blood test results from both the NHS and private providers, as long as the sample is taken from a vein (a venous blood test).

Understanding your blood tests at Menopause Care
Not everyone will need a blood test as part of their menopause care, and that's completely normal. During your initial consultation, your expert clinician will review your symptoms and medical history. If a blood test is recommended, they will outline which test is most appropriate in your clinic letter.
Unlike many private clinics, we can also use blood test results from both the NHS and private providers, as long as the sample is taken from a vein (a venous blood test).
How blood testing at Menopause Care works
Booking and having your blood test is straightforward. Here is what to expect:
Choose a blood test
Your clinician will tell you in your clinic letter which blood test is right for you, and why. If you are unsure, get in touch with our team at info@menopausecare.co.uk.
Request it here and pay online
Use the form at the bottom of this page to let us know which test you need (as outlined in your clinic letter). Our team will email you an invoice to pay securely online. Once payment is confirmed, we'll identify the most convenient clinic near you and get in touch to confirm your booking details. The whole process is handled by our team.
Get tested at a local clinic (or book a home visit)
Visit one of our partner clinics near you. If you'd prefer a home visit, we can arrange that for an additional fee.
Results shared and reviewed by your clinician
Once your results are processed (usually within a few days), they go straight to your Menopause Care clinician for review. If your results need any discussion before your next appointment, your clinician or our team will be in touch.

Which blood test is right for me?
Each blood test panel is designed for a slightly different clinical purpose. Not everyone needs the same level of testing, and your specialist clinician will advise which panel is most appropriate for you.
