What is muscle and joint pain?

Muscle and joint pain during menopause often presents as stiffness, aching, or tenderness, especially in the morning or after inactivity. Hormonal changes, like declining oestrogen, can affect joint lubrication and muscle health, leading to swelling, heaviness, and reduced mobility, impacting daily life and activity.
