"By really listening to your individual concerns with compassion and empathy, I can help you understand the choices you have in order to make an individual holistic management plan. It is a privilege to work with women who feel able to share these concerns with me and see huge improvements to their quality of life."

About
I have been a GP in South West London for over ten years which gives me a broad knowledge base for supporting women through life's challenges. I have enjoyed working with the team at Menopause Care since 2022.
Menopause can be a really challenging time in a womanβs life. I am passionate about supporting and educating women to help empower them to navigate this period and to optimise their health and well-being for the long term. I aim to provide individualised, holistic care to all my patients by offering hormone replacement if they wish, as well as other medical and lifestyle advice.
Medical expertise
Before settling in London, my junior doctor training included several jobs in gynaecology in the UK and an extend period in this specialty in New Zealand. Although I trained as a GP and enjoy the variety of this role, my passion for womenβs health led me to further qualifications including diplomas with the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health. I am experienced in fitting pessaries, coils and contraceptive implants, and hold the British Menopause Society Advanced Certificate.

Philippa outside of work
"With a busy life as a working mum of 2, I look after my own mental health through exercise and cooking to satisfy love of delicious and nutritious food! Exercise is my great escape so I try to keep a focused target by entering half and full marathons and keeping up a social life with a weekly indoor climbing session with friends. I also love music and singing so have been doing my best to teach myself piano over the last year. Unfortunately I canβt claim to be an expert in this yet by any means!"
