"I understand the huge impact that our hormones can have on our mental, physical, and sexual health, as well as pre-existing conditions. Every woman deserves individualised care and a holistic package that is suited to them."

About
From an early stage in my career I took a keen interest in women’s health, having witnessed the impact of hormones on friends, family members, and myself. Since qualifying as a GP in 2014 I have been able to develop this interest, completing further training and education in women’s health. Putting this knowledge into practice has been hugely rewarding. I am passionate about improving services for women and raising awareness of the challenges faced by women experiencing menopausal symptoms.
Medical expertise
I completed by medical degree at the University of Liverpool before moving back to the midlands to be close to my family. I have been a GP around the midlands area for over 10 years so have experience in managing medical complexity. I have completed diplomas with the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health. I am experienced in fitting coils and contraceptive implants, and hold the British Menopause Society Advanced Certificate.
I am particularly interested in hormonal migraine, premature ovarian insufficiency, PMS/PMDD, Testosterone replacement, and the management of menopausal symptoms after breast cancer.
