Will I be able to get a clear diagnosis of perimenopause or menopause in my consultation?

Our doctors will talk through your whole medical history, and be able to provide a clear answer to whether your symptoms could be hormonal or are caused by another condition. Our doctors are experts in assessing whether the root cause could be perimenopause or menopause. Obtaining a clear diagnosis will depend on your exact medical circumstances and the root cause of your specific symptoms. If the cause is not hormonal, your doctor will recommend further investigations to put you on a clear path to diagnosis.

Do I need a blood test before my appointment?

No, in general blood tests are not required in before an appointment. Perimenopause and menopause are usually defined by your symptoms, and medical history rather than by a specific test. If you do need a specific test, your doctor will advise that in the consultation.

Can I use this gift for other services or specialists?

This help-a-friend offer is for the initial 45-minute doctor consultation and is available to new patients without pre-booked appointments. It does not apply to follow-up appointments, specialist clinics or other services. Have your consultation, and receive a tailored treatment plan

During your appointment, you will have time to explain your symptoms and how you are feeling—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Your specialist will take the time to understand your experiences, explore your lifestyle and medical history, and work with you to create a tailored plan that feels right for you.

Using a holistic approach, your tailored plan will cover:

Medication arrives at your home

If your doctor prescribes medication, your prescriptions are delivered to you within 48 business hours.

Once your medications have been shipped, you will receive a Royal Mail tracking number that will allow you to follow your parcel. You may reschedule delivery using the Royal Mail tracking platform. If you have any other delivery queries, please contact info@menopausecare.co.uk
