Menopause nurse

Alex Fryer

‘The greatest reward in working with individuals navigating perimenopause and menopause is seeing the real and often life-changing difference that the right advice and support can make. Simply listening, validating their experiences, and guiding them with evidence-based care can transform not just their health, but their overall sense of self and wellbeing.’

About

With over 35 years of experience as a registered nurse, I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals through every stage of hormonal health. My primary focus has been in sexual health, contraception, women’s health and menopause. I firmly believe in the profound impact that hormones can have on our overall sense of wellbeing and the importance of achieving hormonal balance in order to truly thrive.

I have many years of experience as a registered nurse and now divide my time between my clinical role at Menopause care and my work in teaching and training both of which I find incredibly rewarding.

Medical expertise

I am a nurse prescriber and passionate about supporting individuals as they negotiate the perimenopause and menopause. In my experience, providing relevant evidence based information from reliable resources can really help to empower individuals and enable them to make good choices when it comes to achieving the best outcomes for their menopause journey. I am committed to helping individuals find the balance they need to feel well, confident, and in control of their health.
