The basics

Key information about Oestrogel

4 tips to help you

How and where to apply Oestrogel?

  • 1

Apply to your arm or thigh

Apply one metered dose to each area e.g. if you use 2 doses, apply one dose to one inner thigh and another to an outer arm.

  • 2

Avoid your breasts and genital area

It is important not to apply gel to these areas

  • 3

Leave to dry for 3-5 minutes

Be patient, try brushing your teeth and wash your hands thoroughly

  • 4

Do not apply any other products

Do not apply anything else to the skin for at least 2 hours after application.

Benefits of Oestrogel

Replacing oestrogen with Oestrogel can bring many benefits, and have an impact on all 40 symptoms of menopause.

  • Supports bone health - reduces the risk of osteoporosis
  • Provides a steady release of oestrogen - helping to maintain stable hormone levels. Comparatively to oral HRT, this can reduce hormone fluctuations
  • Bypasses digestion - making it a gentler option for those who experience stomach issues with oral HRT
  • Lower risk of blood clots - compared to oral oestrogen
  • Flexible dosages - adjustable dosages depending on your symptoms
  • Tolerability - Better tolerability for women sensitive to synthetic hormones
  • Non-invasive and easy to apply
